Overwatch 2 - Toronto PVE

For Overwatch 2, I was given the opportunity to lead the environment efforts for Overwatch’s story missions. The first set of missions were Rio, Toronto and Gothenburg.

I joined the team the last year of production for story missions. All were around the 60-70% complete mark, requiring some layout rework with design, re set-dressing, some additional props, new modular kit parts and coordination of optimization/bug fixing efforts across the board for release.

For the Park section of the mission, I reworked a large portion of the park design. Level design required a change in layout which resulted in rework of the terrain, addition of new walls, set dressing, rework of vegetation placement and flow rework.

The Toronto model kits, textures, materials and most of the mission layout were built by Philip Klevestav, Helder Pinto, Fabien Christin, Dion Rogers, Phil Wang. Lindsay Johnson + Steven Rich for props.
